Elizabeth Gillies is a singer as well as a songwriter and actress from the U.S. Her most famous roles include Lucy in 13 the Musical and Jade West on Nickelodeon's sictom Victorious. The actress began her career in advertisements in the year 2000. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her debut appearance on television. From 2010-13 she played Jade West in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious. The role was her main one for the FX comedy show Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015-16). In 2010, she received a nomination to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for best young performer due to her part in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The year after, her role in Super 8 as the main role earned an award called the Spotlight Award for the Hollywood festival of thrillers. She then played the title character in the comedies We Bought a Zoo (2011) and Ginger & Rosa (2012) in addition to the role as the princess Aurora in the epic fantasy film Maleficent (2014) as well as Maleficent Mistress of Evil (2019).
